This submission portal is managed by the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration (VSARA) to help municipalities meet the requirement to provide copies of their reports to VSARA pursuant to 24 V.S.A. § 1173. Reports should be submitted electronically.
All digital municipal reports will be publicly available through VT Re·tain, the State of Vermont's Digital Archives, once processed. Hardcopy municipal reports will be available in VSARA's Reference Room.
Submission by Email (preferred)
Please submit each report, individually, as an attachment to an email and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your municipality uses a vendor or publisher to print your final annual municipal report, please inquire with your vendor or publisher about the availability of an electronic version for you to submit as instructed below.
Important: All reports submitted by email must include the following in the subject line of the email message:
[Your Municipality Name] [Year] Annual Municipal Report
e.g. West Haven 2017 Annual Municipal Report
Due to the high volume of reports expected, VSARA asks that municipalities rename their attachments in the following manner:
[Your Municipality Name]_2017_VermontMunicipalReports]
