Apart from the acts, journals, and committee records, information related to legislative history can be found in a few other places.
Bill files are available from the Legislative Council and they consist of the records of legislative draftsmen who worked on specific bills. The records may include drafts of committee reports or amendments; summaries; research documents; and copies of committee records. Bill files date from 1941 to the present. Researchers should contact the Legislative Council directly to request access to the bill files.
Numerous reports related to public policy issues are created and received by the General Assembly.
