    Scope: Series consists of inspection reports and correspondence of the Industrial Hygiene Division and its successor, the Division of Occupational Health. The records document inspections of sandblast rooms, granite shed exhaust systems, and dust control systems. Files for each company contain reports in chronological order starting with the most recent inspection. The series also includes investigations of flexible metal hoses manufactured by various companies and their performance ratings and approved uses.

The records document granite sheds; quarries; the use of granite tools and safety equipment; and dust control measures of the Vermont granite industry.

    Scope: Series consists of a card index, radiograph description cards and clinical studies files of the Industrial Hygiene Division and its successor, the Occupational Health Division. . The records were created as part of an occupational health program that offered yearly chest x-ray clinics for workers who worked in the granite, talc, marble and asbestos industries. Personal medical information and social security numbers in the records are exempt from public inspection.
