    Scope: Series consists of minutes, correspondence, legal documents, reports, financial records, personnel records, contract drawings, photographs (including panoramic photos), newspaper and magazine articles, and advertising brochures. The commission was created by a compact between New York and Vermont on May 11, 1927. The records document the commission's functions and activities in the construction, maintenance and operation of the Lake Champlain Bridge, the Rouses Point Bridge, and the rebuilding of the Rouses Point Bridge in 1987. There are some records dating 1920 to 1927 (before the commission was formed) that document preliminary plans to build a bridge.
