Disposition Orders

Disposition orders were issued by the former Public Records Advisory Board (PRAB) and its predecessors between the years of 1938 and 2008. Disposition orders that have not yet been superseded by an agency or general record schedule may continue to be used by the agencies to which they were originally issued (or their successors). Determining the legal applicability of the disposition orders to an agency's current records, both paper and digital, is the responsibility of the agency.
