The Vermont State Archives & Records Administration is actively recruiting for the following position:

Opportunity for a specialized, detail-oriented business systems analyst to perform a full range of services under the state records and information management program. 

Research and evaluate business processes, related policies and procedures, and user requirements to identify opportunities for enhancing and modifying internal and enterprise business systems and applications. VSARA business systems analysts assist with, or lead, internal and enterprise-wide collaborations focused on business process analysis and system development to assure business, recordkeeping, IT, legal, and other requirements and needs are efficiently and effectively met.

Position requires a solid command of both information and system lifecycle management and the ability to: (1) create and maintain system design documents, including workflow documentation, and develops detailed requirements, predominantly within the context of records and information management and (2) develop and provide analysis and reporting tools to users, particularly those responsible for carrying out a business process as part of their duties.  

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, along with previous work experience in database administration, particularly SQL, application development, and writing specifications, are required. Professional certification in business analysis and project management and familiarity with SharePoint preferred.
