U.C.C. Debtor Search
This page offers access to our Uniform Commercial Code registry database. To obtain information about a debtor, type the last name of the debtor in the blank below. The data is stored in a single NAME field; LAST NAME first. To include a first name in a search, separate the last name from the first with a single space.
NOTE: Capitalization does not matter, but exact spelling does. Because a match is sought starting at the beginning of each name and continuing for as many letters as you specify, you may improve your chances of finding a match by typing only the first few letters.
The Collateral information document can be viewed by following the simple directions supplied. You can then print the document or save it to a disk.
Dear UCC SEARCH users: Please note that the search function below provides EXACT MATCHES to any data you enter, as against data as PRESENTED for filing. As a result, we advise that you be prudent in your search to get the best results.
For example: A search for The John Smith Health Center LLC. should be conducted as below to obtain the most complete results:
“The John Smith Health Center” – 10 results
“The John Smith Health” – 15 results which include incorrect spellings of the word “Center”
“John Smith Health” – 17 results which include two cases where the word “The” was omitted by the Secured Party
“John Smith LLC” – 20 results which include 3 unrelated companies
We file what is provided, as indicated, in the UCC-1 Financing Statement, which may include variations of the above, as listed incorrectly, by the secured party i.e. while some Secured Parties include “The” in the above example of a debtor’s name, others may omit it in the UCC-1, which will have a direct effect on the search results.
