Chris Winters is appointed Director of the Office of Profession Regulation
Secretary of State Deborah L. Markowitz has named Christopher Winters as Director of the Office of Professional Regulation.
Mr. Winters, of Cabot, Vermont, received his law degree from California Western School of Law in 1995. For the past eight years he has served as Licensing Board Counsel in the Office of the Secretary of State. Secretary of State Markowitz said “because of his many years of experience with the Office of Professional Regulation, Chris Winters will bring a depth of knowledge to the job that will ensure a smooth transition and will help us meet the challenges facing us into the future.”
Mr. Winters replaces Jessica Porter who now serves as Operations Chief for the Vermont Department of Health.
