Montpelier.  The Statewide Canvassing Committee meets at 10:00 a.m. this morning at the Office of the Secretary of State to review the election returns, certify the results of the Presidential Primary, and announce the winner of the Democratic and Republican primaries.

The Statewide Canvassing Committee is composed of the Secretary of State and the Chairman of the state committee of each major political party or his designee.   

The official report of the Canvassing Committee is attached and will be posted on the election results page of the website of the Secretary of State immediately following the meeting.  Excel files of the town-by-town results for each party will also be posted for download.
